Blancco LUN Eraser

Blancco LUN Eraser permanently and securely erases data stored in Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs) within storage arrays and enterprise storage environments. It allows data to be erased in active environments without interrupting the operating system, ensuring complete sanitization of logical volumes and leaving LUNs available for immediate reuse after the process.

Additionally, it can integrate with ITAM or ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow to automate and simplify asset decommissioning and retirement processes. It allows erasure of any type of storage drive supported by UNIX, Linux and Microsoft Windows (including IDE, SCSI, Fibre Channel and iSCSI), as well as virtual data stores on virtual servers hosted on public cloud platforms.

• Detailed reporting. Generates reports including LUN ID, port, path and other relevant information for administrators and end customers.

• Notifications. Sends notifications via phone (SMS) or email when the erasure process is completed.
• Immediate reuse. Maintains the operating system and metadata to allow immediate reuse of the storage.
• Erasure certification. Generates a digitally signed certificate of erasure providing a complete audit trail for audits.
• ITSM / ITAM integration. Integration with management platforms such as ServiceNow to automate asset decommissioning and erasure processes.
